Dill gherkin recipe

Ingredients & Shopping list
- 4 l water
- 2 handful of salt
- 3 kg small (firm) ghurken
- 6 vine leaves
- 6 stalks fresh dill
- 10 peppercorns mixed white and black
- 3 bay leaves
- 2 chillie
- 4 cherry leaves
Preparation
- Wash, rinse and dry the gherkins and prick them several times with a needle.
- Cover the bottom of the earthenware pot with chopped dill and the vine leaves.
- Layer the gherkins alternately with the coarsely chopped dill, sprinkle the remaining spices in between.

Tips & Hints
Leave to infuse for 3-4 days.
