Recipe Teltow turnip
These turnips are a Brandenburg speciality. Very suitable as a side dish.

Ingredients

Teltow turnips

ml
meat broth

butter

tbsp
sugar

tbsp
flour
salt, pepper
Instructions
Peel the turnips, halve the small ones, quarter the larger ones.
Melt the sugar in the pot. When it's nicely browned, remove the pot from the heat and add the butter.
Once the sugar is dissolved, put the pot back on the stove, add the beets and let them brown as well.
Then sprinkle with flour and deglaze with the broth,
Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Finally, season with salt and pepper to taste.
