250gdandelion flowers (do not collect next to busy roads)
750mlwater
1kgsugar
1organic lemon

IMPORTANT!
Before preparation, pluck the flowers from the stems and soak the flowers overnight in a sufficient water bath. This way all the unwanted insects crawl out. Then rinse the flowers again under running water.
Preparation
Boil the flowers and the lemons in the water over low heat for 30 minutes.
Then strain the flowers and lemon pieces over a sieve and squeeze again.
Now put the water back on the stove and add the sugar. Simmer for about 15 minutes at reduced heat.
Pour into clean jars and screw down.

The syrup has a shelf life of over 1 year if kept in a cool place. Assuming he hasn't been snacked on first.
